If JaMarcus Russell continues to struggle, the Raiders could be forced to draft a quarterback next April.
ESPN's Bill Williamson wrote the following in a mailbag column on Saturday:
"If Russell is really, really bad and the rest of the Oakland makes progress, I could see it. The Raiders don't want this to happen. But three seasons is a good evaluation time to make a decision on a quarterback."
Russell is 19-for-54 with 317 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions this season. He has a QB rating of 46.6.
